Plaid is one of my favorite fall staples. It took me awhile to get into the plaid crave but once you go plaid, you don’t go back. My favorite variations of plaid have a variety of blue and red (much like this top from Conversation Pieces), but I also love a navy and green mix. Darker plaid gives off a relaxed look, while red and brighter colors are easy to dress up!
Combat boots are another thing that took me awhile to get into. I felt like I had absolutely no business wearing combat boots for the longest time, and then I finally bought a pair and I have not been able to get them off my feet ever since. I now have a black leather pair (pictured), a black suede pair, and a camel pair. Anything combat style (shoes, jackets, accessories, you name it….) is super relaxed. If you have been following Courtney & Confetti for awhile now then you know that I am all about simple, easy and casual.
Don’t get me wrong, I love to dress up. Heels, dress, lipstick= my favorite ensemble. I am typically running from place to place from 6am to 8pm though and a lot of shoes and clothes are not made for walking.
Happy almost Halloween! I hope you have a safe and fun weekend!
Xo, Courtney
