I am so excited to share this wedding update with you. It was truly one of my absolute favorite parts of wedding planning so far. For years, I knew the girls who would be standing by my side and to finally get to ask them was such a dream.
Once Keith and I found our wedding venue in California (which we discovered on WeddingWire + I highly recommend looking at for any brides-to-be out there!), I knew I wanted to get all my bridesmaids in the ocean spirit. Some of them have never been to California before and I am the most excited to share my little “special place” with them in SoCal.
Your bridesmaids are one of the biggest parts of your wedding and they do so much on the day of and throughout the planning. They help you keep your sanity during the planning process at times when you want to pull your hair out. I knew I wanted to put something meaningful together and I loved doing it – giving gifts is one of my favorite things.
So, what’s in the box?
Not pictured are cards I purchased from Etsy. My stationary vendor, Paper Tie Affair, also makes the cutest variation of bridesmaid proposal cards.
I included Mini Voluspa Pacifica Candles – the scent is intended to represent the California shoreline.
Sugarfina Beach Buddies seemed like they were made for these boxes and were an absolute must. I will never understand how Sugarfina thinks of this stuff but they are genius.
One of my favorite beauty products is Herbivore Botanicals Sea Mist. I have been using it for what seems like forever. The mist has a hint of coconut and makes you feel like you have walked onto the beach. The vibes this mist gives off were just what I was hoping to achieve.
Lastly, Aenon’s Rose + Charcol Kelp face masks. I was looking for a face mask which had some sort of ocean element to it – which was surprisingly very difficult to find. Once I found these, I was sold on the Kelp addition.
I think every bride-to-be says this, but I truly have the greatest bridesmaids and am so thankful for them. Multiple times a week I ask myself – “how did I get so lucky to have the most incredible people in my life through so many different seasons?” I honestly feel way lucky to have had such strong, loving, determined, and uplifting friends in my life.
