During the fall one of my most thought about things is food. I continually think about the different types of breads I want to make, what my next crockpot recipe will be, and how I can “health-ily” indulge on Sundays while watching football. In a world of many food options, I easily forget options are not so plentiful for other people around the world. Almost half of the world, over three billion people, do not have access to food, water, shelter, and more things I truthfully take for granted every single day.
I am excited to be teaming up with Whole Foods & West Elm to introduce you to the Whole Planet Foundation.
If you are not aware of what The Whole Planet Foundation does, their mission is to eliminate poverty stricken communities around the world that supply Whole Foods Market stores with products.
For every new food photo shared on Instagram with #westelmxwfm, West Elm & Whole Foods Market will donate $1 to the Whole Planet Foundation, helping to alleviate poverty worldwide.
In support of their campaign, I re-created a quick and easy appetizer recipe from the West Elm blog, pictured above.
I hope you will join me in using this hashtag during the current season. Every picture can make a difference.
