Wedding planning! What a crazy process it has been so far. I was truly not expecting all the different hurdles, conversations, processes, etc. which take place.
In honesty, I was feeling extraordinarily overwhelmed at the beginning but am so thankful for the help Frost Bank has been. Since a huge part of wedding plan is budget, I decided to chat with Frost about where to begin.
After determining a budget the first thing they suggested was looking at venues – as this is the biggest expense.
Say no more, I always knew I wanted to get married in California (this is where I was born + grew up), so an excuse to book a flight sounded great in my book. Keith and I got on a flight and visited venues with my family.
After we came back to Houston and had some time to think about logistics, we spoke with our friends at Frost to ensure our venue decision was a smart one for our wedding budget. The Frost Team broke down all the nitty gritty for us and it was extraordinarily helpful.
We used the Frost App to quickly access our account information on the fly + could see our wedding budget and where the venue would come into play in comparison to the rest of our wedding finances.
Keith + I have been utilizing Frost’s financial planning to keep us on track with other vendors as well.
I am beyond thankful for Frost’s guidance in this unfamiliar territory. They helped guide us on the right path and we were able to find our dream venue in La Jolla, California! We originally found our venue on WeddingWire and the reviews did not even do it justice. I am so excited about where we chose to get married and cannot wait to take you guys on this crazy (but still fun + exciting) journey with me!
